Food is the fuel of life

All fresh food is good. What we do with it is what adds to our weight problem. We eat too much because we don’t actually know when to stop. Q: How do you know when you have had enough to eat? A:When we are full – No that’s too late! Real answer: When we are satisfied.


Life should be your only binge!

When you conquer your obsession with food and weight, you discover that you start to channel your thoughts and energy into your life, and of course this is the objective. Life Should Be Your Only Binge!


Famine Mode

If you wan’t to lose weight, one of the worst things you can do is to miss breakfast. Why? because when your body thinks there is no food coming it starts to store fat as part of your natural defence system. This is called famine mode. When you have breakfast you balance your blood sugar level setting you up emotionally and physically. When you do this your body has no reason to store fat.


Thinking About Diets

The thrust of any diet is to lose weight. Almost anyone can do that. So why is the diet industry worth billions each year. Why does the figure increase each year. The original creator of “mustard” made more money on the mustard left on plates than the mustard that was actually eaten. Isn’t this the same thing. The fact is that the diet industry make more money on the “certainty” that most of us are  sure to regain weight when we stop the diet. They have a great “Get Out” e.g. While you were on our diet you lost 2 stone you only put it back on after you finished with us. Even if this is not stated it’s implied. In other words it’s your fault which is another hit on your self-esteem that adds to the emotional problem. This adds to the diet industry certainty that you will be back again with an even bigger problem. Why do we pay for this physical and emotional abuse. Because we’re so tied up in the belief that to lose weight you have to go on a diet, or use pills or supplements. We cannot see that it’s all much easier than that. Our bodies are designed to lose weight naturally. This is achieved by simplicity i.e. drink at least 2 medium bottles of water per day, Don’t eat to fullness, eat to feeling satisfied, eat good food, never deprive yourself, do more of the things you like to do each day,  More Later….Brendan.


Did you know?

Did you know that one reason why we put weight on is that we have lost the ability to understand our natural body signals? Our body signals get confused when we eat and drink stuff the body considers unnecessary to sustain life. After a long period of being ignored the signals get weaker and no longer call for what is needed. Then the mind takes over and gives us what we want, which is mostly the stuff the body considers unnecessary to sustain life and guess what? yes on goes the weight. The good news is our body signals return very quickly when we give our bodies what they need, and not what we think they need.

Did You Know?

Did you know that Doctors and Nurses Worldwide abhor Diets. They have first hand experience of the horrific damage to the human body and mind by food related illness. Obesity, Diabetes, Cancer, osteoporosis to name but a few.

Food related illness is the number one challenge to the Medical World and it is now at pandemic levels. What we thought was a cure for overweight i.e. Diets has become the enemy within. We invite it in and that makes it deadly. Diets deprive your body of nutrients and your mind of clarity and common sense. Every time you diet you weaken your body and mind just that bit more until the inevitable happens “Food Related Illnesses” of which there are many.

Preserve and Protect:

The human body and mind are more sophisticated by a million fold than any computer, and yes that includes anything they have at Nassau…  The human computer has at least one very powerful program it’s called the “Preserve and Protect Program” This program is designed to protect us from external influences such as disease, physical danger, psychological danger and so on. It is ironic that the serve and protect program has had to divide it’s attention to protect us from the one thing it is not designed to do, “Protect us from ourselves”  Why does it feel the need to do this? well because we don’t uphold our side of the deal. The deal is, we are supposed to feed with the correct fuel, hydrate with the correct liquid, and exercise moderately but regularly. That’s it! if we were adamant about doing just that, the Preserve and Protect program will do the rest with incredible efficiency, and life becomes much easier to handle. The problem is that for a countless number of reasons we the Human Race have forgotten how to do this without stress. The reality is, we are designed to be healthy and vibrant but we consistently get in our own way by applying quick fix’s to serve an unrealistic need for instant gratification. For example to lose weight we go on diets and the evidence of the progressive damage that diets have done over the past 30 years is manifesting itself now, and yet we persist in spite of all the evidence Worldwide to the damage caused by such decisions. The ironic part is that it’s all much easier than that.  It’s about learning how to treat the most sophisticated computer properly so that it can treat you properly.
